Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Alexis graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Communicative Sciences and Disorders. While she initially aspired to become a speech-language pathologist, her experience working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) during her undergraduate years sparked a deep passion for understanding human behavior. This passion led her to pursue a Master of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis through Capella University.
Since completing her graduate studies, she has focused her work on early intervention, holding a strong belief in helping young learners build foundational skills that support a successful transition into school environments. Professionally, Alexis specializes in early intervention ABA services, finding fulfillment in tailoring programs to meet the unique needs of each child. Her goal is to promote independence and growth through an assent-based approach, the use of evidence-based strategies, and the creation of a positive and engaging learning experience. She is especially passionate about collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a well-rounded approach to each child’s development.
Outside of work, Alexis enjoys diving into psychological thrillers—both books and documentaries and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Her favorite moments are spent with friends, family, and her fiancé, finding fun activities to enjoy together. Whether going on walks, catching a movie, or cheering on their favorite teams at a game, Alexis values creating lasting memories through shared experiences.
