Occupational Therapist

Hilary Hyde is a board certified occupational therapist who earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from Baker College Center for Graduate Studies. She also has a Bachelor of Science degree from Alma College where she double majored in Integrative Physiology & Health Science and Psychology. 

Hilary has several years of experience working in outpatient pediatrics targeting sensory integration, feeding, handwriting, and fine/gross motor development. She has treated a wide age range of children spanning from birth through the teenage years with diagnoses such as autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other developmental delays. Hilary is certified in the Beckman Oral Motor protocol, Sequential-Oral-Sensory (SOS) approach for feeding, Learning Without Tears program for handwriting remediation and also has training in reflex integration. She values play as a child’s main occupation and ensures that each treatment session is client-centered allowing for fun therapy all while targeting important skills.

When away from the clinic, you can find her spending time with her husband, son, and dog.

She enjoys camping, watching a good show, and vintage shopping.
