Leah has found that this helps to enhance motivation and engagement to achieve speech and language goals. She is dedicated and passionate about using a play-based approach, which leads to increased learning, positive associations, and holistic development. Leah has experience treating children with articulation/phonological disorders, receptive/expressive language delays, childhood apraxia, autism spectrum disorder, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and more. She is devoted to participating in ongoing education and staying current and up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in the field.
Leah enjoys spending time with friends and family and her cat, Midori, a Maine Coon. She especially likes going to the beach and shopping at thrift stores. Leah aspires to travel to Japan one day. She also likes to attend concerts and plays, as well as read murder mysteries.
